An Introduction to The Hague Academy of
International Law’s 2021 Hong Kong Programme

Due to the pandemic situation, the first edition of The Hague Academy of International Law’s Advanced Course in Hong Kong (the Course) that is originally due to be organised in December 2020 has been rescheduled to Q4 of 2021.

Despite the foregoing, some of the lecturers of the Course will speak at this webinar to provide audience with an overview of the Course rescheduled to 2021, which will be devoted to delving into the means and current practices of the settlement of international commercial disputes.

Ms Teresa Cheng GBS SC JP, Dr Christophe Bernasconi, Professor Diego P. Fernández Arroyo and Professor Jean-Marc Thouvenin will speak at the webinar. Dr Anthony Neoh QC SC JP, Chairman of the Asian Academy of International Law, will host the four honourble speakers for a discussion on various topics, including The Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH) and its work regarding dispute resolution, the current trends on international commercial dispute settlement and the programmes of The Hague Academy of International Law.
