The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is an international commercial law treaty which provides a set of uniform rules governing the formation of the contract of sale and the rights and obligations of the seller and the buyer arising from such a contract.

As more and more countries adopt the CISG (currently, with 94 state parties from all over the world), the number of businesses and cross-boundary sales contracts that fall within its sphere of application grows. A working knowledge of the CISG will therefore be highly beneficial to both transaction and litigation lawyers.

In this webinar, Professor Dr Ulrich G. Schroeter, a renowned CISG expert, will share with participants the ‘must knows’ from international court practice that has developed under the CISG.
