Dr Gao Xiang is a Professor of Law of China University of Political Science & Law (CUPL). He is a Member of the Legal Committee of the Banking Commission of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Executive Chairman of ICC China Commission of Commercial Law and Practice, Deputy President of China Society of Comparative Law, a Member of International Commercial Expert Committee of the Supreme People’s Court of the People’s Republic China, President of Beijing Banking Law Society, and an Arbitrator of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission. He was the immediate past Dean of the College of Comparative Law of CUPL, a Judge of the Supreme People’s Court of the People’s Republic China and a Professor of Law of the Faculty of Law of University of Technology Sydney, Australia.
