Professor Huang Jin has got a Doctor of Law degree at Wuhan University and doctorat honoris causa at the Université de Montréal in Canada. He is currently Professor of Law at China University of Political Science and Law; he also serves as Vice President of China Society of Law, President of Chinese Society of International Law, President of China Society of Private International Law, and Vice Chairman of China Foundation for Human Rights Development. He is a member of International Commercial Expert Committee of the Supreme People’s Court of the People’s Republic of China, a member of Permanent Court of Arbitration, and Vice President of the World Jurist Association. He was former Vice President of Wuhan University and President of China University of Political Science and Law. In 1995, he was awarded ‘Top Ten Outstanding Young Jurists’ by the China Society of Law.
