Hans Michael Jebsen BBS is the Chairman of Jebsen Group. He is Non-Executive Director at Jebsen & Jessen Group, Jebsen & Jessen Hamburg, and The Wharf (Holdings) Ltd. Dedicated to community work, Mr Jebsen is Chairman of the Hong Kong-Europe Business Council, Chairman of the Corporate Advisory Board of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Business School, a Member of the Board of Trustees of Asia Society Hong Kong, a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Asian Cultural Council, Trustee of the World Wide Fund for Nature Hong Kong, and Co-founder of the Asian Academy of International Law. Mr Jebsen took part in various government advisory councils, including the Advisory Council on the Environment of the Government of the Hong Kong SAR from 2009 to 2012 and the Council for Sustainable Development of the Government of the Hong Kong SAR from 2003 to 2009. He also served as the Municipal Economic Advisor of the People’s Government of Jilin City as well as Committee Member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Committee of Jilin City from 2005 to 2010. Mr Jebsen has been recognised for his contributions with numerous awards, including the title of Guangzhou Honorary Citizen in 2021, the Kammerherre by H.M. The Queen of Denmark in 2020, Knight 1^st Class of the Order of Dannebrog in 2014, and the Blanchette Hooker Rockefeller Award in 2018.
