The commercial space economy is expanding as assets such as satellites, launch capacity, spectrum rights, orbital slots, and space-based data become increasingly investable. However, current international frameworks mainly address State responsibility and liability, leaving major gaps in areas such as for recording ownership, leases, security interests, priority, enforcement rights, and insolvency treatment. This webinar examines these gaps, reviews emerging legal developments, and explores whether registry, finance framework, or dispute-resolution platform could help make commercial space assets more legally certain and financeable.
