The Honourable Professor Teresa Cheng GBM GBS SC JP, Co-Chairman of AAIL welcomed a delegation led by Mr Liu Guilin, Deputy Director of the Qianhai Authority. The delegation included Mr Luo Heping, Chairman of Qianhai Industrial Development Group Co., Ltd. as well as Mr Gao Wenjie, Council Member of Shenzhen Lawyers Association.

An overview provided by Professor Cheng regarding AAIL’s key initiatives was followed by substantive discussions on the development of legal systems in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, the cultivation of foreign-related legal professionals, and exploring potential collaboration opportunities. There was also an exchange of views on the concept of ‘One Country, Two Systems, Three Jurisdictions’.

Deputy Director Liu Guilin expressed keen interest in fostering partnerships amongst the Qianhai Authority, the Shenzhen University GBA Foreign-related Legal Practice Institute, and the AAIL.
