The 2019 Colloquium on International Law was convened under the theme Synergy and Security – The Keys to Sustainable Global Investment, focusing on deliberating four issues:

•   Spurring Cross-Border Trade and Investment
•   Dispute Resolution – The Global Dimension
•   International Law – The Belt and Road Initiative
•   Cybersecurity

The Colloquium was well attended by audiences coming from Hong Kong as well as all the four corners of the world. While most attendees are law practitioners, there were also high-ranking government officials, academics, entrepreneurs and diplomats who unanimously gave very positive feedback, affirming the practicality and relevancy of the Colloquium. With an array of distinguished speakers sharing their invaluable insights, it is our hope that, the Proceedings shall be beneficial to furthering studies and research work of international law in Asia and beyond.
