While nations do collaborate at times for the common good; yet, recent times witness more divergence. In the interconnected yet divided world of today, we are facing numerous unprecedented challenges. Collaborating in exploring a way forward for a brighter future of mankind is without doubt high on the world agenda; however, overuse of sanctions could be an impediment to this progress.

The 2020 Colloquium on International Law was convened under the theme Sanctions – Principles of Non-Interference, gathering an array of distinguished speakers to share their perceptive insights. It is our hope that, the Proceedings shall be beneficial to furthering the studies and research work of international law in Asia and beyond.
