On 10 December 2024, Secretary-General of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), Mr Wang Chengjie, and Deputy Secretary-General of CIETAC Hong Kong Arbitration Center, Mr Brad Wang, led a delegation to visit AAIL.

The delegation was received by Mr Adrian Lai JP, Deputy Secretary-General of AAIL, who shared AAIL’s founding history, vision and mission as well as major initiatives undertaken in recent years. When Mr Wang Chengjie presented an overview of CIETAC’s work, he pointed out a common goal shared by AAIL and CIETAC, i.e. cultivating legal talents and promoting the development of international law and dispute resolution.

Other than reviewing previous collaborations between AAIL and CIETAC, both bodies expressed keen interest to strengthen further co-operation in the future.
